As we move closer to the 2024-2025 school year, we've had many conversations regarding student transitions to new schools next year. We are excited to offer two New Family Welcome Night opportunities for our elementary and middle school students who will be attending a new school next year. Please note, each school has an Open House in the spring. Your current school's open house is a showcase for this school year. We strongly encourage all families to participate in your school's Open House. Students will have an opportunity to show their family around their school and families will learn more about what happens during the day in their child's classroom. The New Family Welcome Nights shared below are additional opportunities for students who will attend a new school in the 2024-2025 school year. These Welcome Nights are not mandatory, but an option for any students who will attend a new school next year. Elementary New Family Welcome Night - April 17, 2024 6-6:45 pm at your child's school During this Elementary New Family Welcome Night, new students will hear a welcome from their principal followed by self-guided tours and an opportunity to participate in a scavenger hunt to find specific locations in the building. Middle School New Family Welcome Night - April 15, 2024 During this Middle School New Family Welcome Night, new students will hear a welcome from their principal followed by self-guided tours and an opportunity to participate in a scavenger hunt to find specific locations in the building. 6:00 - 6:45 pm - Incoming 6th graders 7:00 - 7:45 pm - Incoming 7th and 8th graders If your child is in a special education program, there will be an additional, smaller orientation night shared with families at a later date.
